What you consider advocating for what you want may be viewed as inflexibility or bullheaded behavior by the one you love today. Your significant other might resist your demands, which will only make you want to push your agenda even harder.
Instead of spending the day locking horns, use this time to consider whether there’s more room for humility, collaboration, and compromise. You have an opportunity to find a resolution that satisfies both parties but only if you’re each willing to listen.
It could feel comfortable not to ‘rock emotional boats’ in any way now. You could be tempted to stick with what is safe and predictable rather than push a romantic or relationship boundary, emotionally, intimately, or both.
But if your heart tells you that by pushing aside the possibility of passionate progress, you settle for second best, it’s worth heeding that message!
